In this community workshop, participants arrange natural and found objects on light-sensitive cloth — then let the sun do the rest, revealing hauntingly beautiful blue-and-white images. An artist facilitator guides you through every step. Inspired by our spring Trilogy exhibition, this workshop invites you to try a non-toxic medium — and reflect on the fact that before synthetic dyes existed, textile workers risked their lives for vivid color. Today, we create stunning, luminous works with nothing more dangerous than sunlight and water.
