Muralocity
Thanks to the community's generosity, Muralocity was fully funded in part by a crowdfunding campaign, which surpassed its fundraising goal. The campaign on the crowdfunding platform Patronicity ran for approximately a month through July 31, 2026, raising $26,835 from 39 donors.
Two murals are complete; a third is nearly finished, and the fourth begins later in September 2026.
A fifth mural is planned for 2027 as part of Lowell Arts' 50th anniversary, with its theme to be shaped in partnership with the community.

Muralocity: Crowdfunding Campaign
Lowell Arts is launching a crowdfunding campaign to fund Muralocity, a series of five murals coming to downtown Lowell. Through the Michigan-based crowdfunding platform Patronicity, the public is invited to donate at patronicity.com through July 31, 2026.
If the campaign reaches its $25,000 goal, Lowell Arts will receive a matching grant through the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC)'s Public Spaces Community Places program – doubling every dollar raised.
