What do you think?

June 28 – Sept 30, 2025

We're continuing to explore exciting possibilities for public art throughout Lowell and want to hear from you! We invite you to take a few minutes to share your thoughts in our survey — your ideas will directly influence how we transform public spaces into creative gathering places that reflect our community's character. Would you like to see murals, sculptures, community-driven installations, landmark structures? Your input will help guide this creative initiative.

Then & Now Project

June 28 – July 19, 2025

Lowell Arts has partnered with the City of Lowell Downtown Development Authority to launch a public art initiative, starting this summer with "The Then and Now Project" - an interactive gallery experience where community members can share stories about past public art projects, mark locations on a city map where they envision public art installations, and contribute ideas about themes and stories that should be represented. Your participation will directly inform the planning process that continues through fall and winter, leading to future public art projects launching next summer.
