Muralocity: Request for Qualifications (RFQ)

Call for Artists
Muralocity is a Public Art Initiative that will activate historic downtown Lowell, Michigan with five community-driven murals. The project is organized by Lowell Arts in partnership with the City of Lowell's Downtown Development Authority.

Seeking mural artists with public art experience as well as emerging artists, to be part of this exciting Public Art initiative in Lowell.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Public Art Survey (June 28–Sept 30, 2025)! We heard from you about public art throughout Lowell, and your ideas will directly influence how we'll transform public spaces into creative gathering places that reflect our community's character.

 

Your input on murals, sculptures, community-driven installations, and landmark structures will continue to help guide this creative initiative.
