​Fusion Rock Orchestra

Established in 2008, Fusion is a student-led ensemble coached by Wendy Tenney, Director of Orchestras at Lowell High School. Fusion includes students in grades 9-12 from the LHS Chamber and Symphony Orchestras. Fusion Rock Orchestra has performed from the steps of the Capitol to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. From Motown to Metallica to Mozart, Fusion has a style that will entertain all audiences.

Nicholas James and the Bandwagon

Nicholas James and the Bandwagon is a folk-rock group from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Blending Americana, country, and jam-band influences, their music features heartfelt lyrics and energetic performances. Led by singer-songwriter Nicholas James Thomasma, the band has become a staple at festivals, known for their lively, feel-good shows. Hop on the bus! Hop on the Bandwagon!

Toby Bresnahan & Rod Sager

​These guys have a deep appreciation for Irish & Celtic music including but not limited to jigs, reels, hornpipes, airs, various acoustic style instrumentals, sing-alongs and of course, the craic. Performing traditional as well as modern day Irish music they bring to the stage a variety of creative arrangements of old familiar as well as current tunes playing various instruments like guitars, bouzouki, octave mandolin, ukulele, whistles, percussion, and voice.

Hawks & Owls

Hawks and Owls string band reaches back and pulls the musical sounds
of the 19th and early 20th century into our present 21st century. Old Time fiddle tunes, and the songs of Stephen Foster, the Carter Family, Jimmy Rodgers, Charlie Poole and the North Carolina Ramblers and other greats are kept alive by fiddler/mandolinist Bruce Ling. Additional members of Hawks and Owls string band are Becca Ling on rhythm guitar, Jerry Wenger on Bass, and Austin Benzing on lead guitar.

The B-Side Growlers

The B-Side Growlers are an acoustic trio from Grand Rapids, MI, who focus on what’s become their tagline: “Tradition inspired, toe-tappin’ fired, vintage acoustic blues, jazz and country”. This allows them to create a musical experience with a rich history, festive atmosphere and a wide variety of song styles. Tradition inspired music is alive and well…and The B-Side Growlers enjoy being a part of it!

Red Thyme

Red Thyme is a Bluegrass band with roots in Grand Rapids, MI. The group is fronted by Hals Smedstad on vocals and rhythm guitar, Jerry Wenger on backing vocals and guitar, Jeff Valensky on upright bass and vocals, and Tyler Littleton backing vocals and mandolin. Red Thyme’s music is a unique blend of traditional bluegrass and modern indie-folk and rock influences. In 2024 the band released their first EP- "Places You Don't Go," and is anticipated to release their debut album in the next year.

Whorled

After meeting by chance at a traditional Irish session, the Whorled trio has received rapid critical acclaim for their innovative and eclectic style of world music. Described by Local Spins as “a road trip for the ears,” Whorled transports their audiences around the globe with a fresh blend of re-imagined Celtic, bluegrass, French Café, and jazz influences. Whorled is guitarist and digeridooist Thom Jayne, fiddler Keala Venema, and accordionist Mariko Venema.
