About the Play

Kat was led to believe that she was on her way to space camp, and nothing could have been cooler. But when a snafu with registration occurs, Kat is instead headed to arts and crafts camp... and nothing could be lamer.

Between the boring pottery classes, confusing crochet lessons, and overly perky counselors, Kat is sure that this is going to be the worst week ever. Until someone goes missing! A storm blows in and before they know it, Kat and the rest of her campers will have to utilize every crafty tool they’ve got in order to survive the night.

Tentative Schedule

Rehearsals are currently planned for 4 days per week, tentatively on weekday evenings and Saturday afternoons, beginning  the week of February 19.

Audition Tips

It’s okay to be nervous!

Just about everyone is nervous. Do your best to smile and have a good time. Take a deep breath and slow yourself down - trying to rush through the words will often lead to mistakes!

Be kind to everyone and smile.

Remember that your audition is like an interview, and it begins the moment you walk in the door.Sun, Sept 17, 10:00am – 5:00pm

Research.

Find out what you can about the play and the characters. Read a summary of the play before the audition.

Be prepared.

If you are asked to present a song or monologue, prepare your piece well. Memorize your selection and practice it many times.

Be on time.

We want to know that you’re punctual and reliable. A good rule to live by: if you’re 5 minutes early, you’re on time. If you’re “on time,” you’re late.
