The World Premiere production of a new play by Grand Rapids playwright, Brent Alles.

Evelyn Foster finds her already challenging life upended when her opinionated mother, Christine, moves in following the death of Christine’s second husband. With her sister Kathy overwhelmed by a house full of family, Evelyn begrudgingly agrees to host their fiercely critical mother for a "temporary" stay that threatens to become permanent. Between managing her mom’s endless demands, dodging old resentments, and trying not to throttle her daughter Marie (whose life choices are questionable at best), Evelyn finds an unexpected bright spot in Ken, a charming roofing contractor who may be exactly what she didn’t know she needed. Even as tensions rise and misunderstandings multiply, it's never too late to patch a roof… or a relationship. ​
