About the event

4 Sessions | Tuesday, November 12, 19, 26, December 3, 6:00pm – 8:00pm

Students will learn the basics of playwriting, including elements of play structure, effective techniques for creating characters and scenarios, etc. The major project will be to write a 10-minute play and then possibly perform it (or have others perform it!).

  • Instructor: Brent Alles
  • Ages: 6 to 16
  • Materials Needed: All materials provided.
  • Class Fee: $52 ($44 for Lowell Arts Members).
  • Registration Closes: Friday, November 8 at 5:00pm

Brent Alles has experience acting, directing, and writing plays, including plays for kids. He has a Master of Arts in Humanities from Central Michigan University, an MBA from Capella University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Education from Syracuse University. Brent is a member of the sketch comedy trio, Public Domain, with Rob Freund and Jeff Stacer.
